These online shopping terms and conditions apply to all purchases ordered online at www.jelli.co.za. Please read them carefully and print a copy for future reference.
Jelli delivers from Monday to Friday, from 10 a.m. till 8 p.m.; Saturday from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. Jelli does not deliver on any public holidays. Deliveries will only be made to the delivery address selected on checkout and are subject to availability and receipt of payment. We do our best to secure delivery within 5-7 working days of the date of your order but will not be liable for loss occasioned by delay in delivery arising out of any cause beyond our control. Please ensure that the delivery address is easily accessible to our delivery vehicles.
For verification purposes, the person accepting delivery at the delivery address may be required to produce a form of identification. Any person other than yourself who receives the products at the delivery address is presumed to be authorised to accept delivery on your behalf. Should no-one be in attendance at the time of delivery, the driver will keep the products and leave a notice at the delivery address to this effect. The driver will attempt to contact you to make new arrangements for delivery or collection. We reserve the right to charge an additional delivery fee should it be required in the circumstances. Our liability for failing to deliver the products timeously is limited to delivery being effected at a later agreed time at no additional charge. Please arrange that you or your authorised representative is available to accept your purchases at the delivery address and that appropriate access will be made available. We have outsourced all delivery and collection arrangements. Accordingly, we cannot, to the extent permitted by law, be liable for any damage suffered or loss incurred by reason of any acts or omissions of the deliverer, its directors, employees, sub-contractors, agents, representatives and/or affiliates.
Orders placed online constitute your offer to purchase subject to these Terms. Your offer is deemed to have been accepted by us when you receive our confirmation of your order. Failure by us to formally confirm or notify acceptance shall not affect the validity of the sale or the enforceability thereof.
Use of our website outside South Africa
Customers who are not resident in South Africa are welcome to use our website in accordance with these Terms to make online purchases provided that the delivery address is in South Africa.
We trust you will be delighted with your purchase but there may be occasions where you feel it necessary to return an item.
All items returned to Jelli must have the Jelli and / or brand labels still attached to them, should not have been worn and should be in the same condition as received by customers.
The item purchased from our website may be returned to any Jelli store for a full refund, replacement or exchange, provided you have the original tax invoice, and items are returned in a saleable condition within 10 (ten) days of purchase.
Please note that items purchased on our Sale are subject to a separate returns policy.
Should you not have an invoice, we will be happy to exchange your purchase at the current system price. For hygiene reasons underwear, swimwear and earrings for pierced ears may not be returned or exchanged. Gift cards purchased will not be refunded. Garments must be returned in the pre-addressed Berco Flyer provided within 3 working days after delivery. It is the customers responsibility to contact Berco to pick up garments that need to be returned. Once Jelli is satisfied that the garment(s) returned is in good order, you will be credited the full amount of the garment.
If for any reason you would like to cancel an order this may be done by contacting us on 011 447 4744 or info@jelli.co.za. You will only be able to cancel orders up to midnight on the day prior to the date of delivery. We reserve the right to debit your payment card for the delivery fees in respect of any late cancellations. If you cancel your payment for any reason or if your payment card should cease to be valid for whatever reason, you will nevertheless be bound to pay to the full purchase price, including all costs incurred by us relating to the recovery thereof. Without prejudice to any other rights or remedies in law, we reserve the right to cancel forthwith any sale and/or your registration in the event of your breach any of the Terms.
Cancellation of orders by the client will attract a 5% administration fee.
Risk in the products shall pass to you or your authorized representative on delivery. We will retain ownership in the products until payment has been received in full.
JELLI shall take all reasonable steps to protect the personal information of users. For the purpose of this clause, "personal information" shall be defined as detailed in the Promotion of Access to Information Act 2 of 2000 (PAIA). Jelli will make sure that your personal information is kept strictly confidential and not disclosed to third parties. Moreover, we will only contact you with news of Jelli special offers and promotions once you have indicated you would like to receive our newsletter at registration. However, we may release account information when we believe, in good faith, that such release is reasonably necessary to a) comply with law, b) enforce or apply the terms of any of our user agreements or c) protect the rights, property or safety of Jelli, our users or others.

Payment may be made via Visa, MasterCard, Diners or American Express credit cards or by bank transfer into the Jelli bank account, the details of which will be provided on request. All prices include VAT.
Payment will be effected on acceptance of your order and prior to delivery. By submitting your order, Identity Number and payment card details you warrant that you are over the age of 18 (eighteen), are authorised to make payment with the payment card and that there are sufficient funds available to pay for the order.
Jelli gift cards may be used to make purchases online.
Credit card transactions will be acquired for Jelli via PayGate (Pty) Ltd who are the approved payment gateway for Standard Bank of South Africa. PayGate uses the strictest form of encryption, namely Secure Socket Layer 3 (SSL3) and no credit card details are stored on the website. Users may go to www.paygate.co.za to view their security certificate and security policy.
Customer details will be stored by Jelli separately from card details which are entered by the client on PayGate's secure site. For more detail on PayGate refer to www.paygate.co.za
The merchant outlet country at the time of presenting payment options to the cardholder is South Africa. Transaction Currency is South African Rand (ZAR).
Jelli takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction including sale of goods and services sold on this website, customer service and support, dispute resolution and delivery of goods
This website is governed by the laws of South Africa and Jelli chooses as its domicilium citandi et executandi for all purposes under this agreement, whether in respect of court process, notice, or other documents or communication of whatsoever nature as Shop 9, Hutton Court, Corner Jan Smuts Avenue and Summit Road, Hyde Park .
